Without an injured Luka Doncic, Dallas beat home Utah 126-118 to take a 2-1 lead in the Western Conference quarterfinal series. However, host coach Jason Kidd wasn’t particularly pleased with the team’s victory.

“I just told them they haven’t done anything. They (Utah) beat us, but now we have to give it back here. We have to go after this game and find where we can improve,” said the 49-year-old helmsman.

Memphis beat the Timberwolves 104-95, but still has a 2-1 lead. Ja Morant, who had 16 points and 10 rebounds, scored his first triple-double and an assist in the prep period.
